Every time I go to this place, I feel that I should have packed a lunch. I could spend lots of time here. I never leave without carrying out something.. (strings, music stand, 12-string Yamaha, Acoustic 6-string, Capos, Strap, Bass Amp, etc) The acumen of the staff is keen. Once knowing my needs (multi-track recorder) they intervened and prevented me from dropping cash on an item that would not have been the appropriate choice, and instead, gave me some proper "schooling" on what would be more relevant, placed me on a watch and notify list. AND advising me to reload and update the drivers on my DAW. I recently took a vintage guitar in for an evaluation and within 15 minutes, the staff not only identified the make, year, and value of this 52-year-old dot neck ES 335 Lawsuit instrument online, but provided me with photographs (DNA). I'm Telling my friends and going in again...(and again)

Wow, what a gem. Have been going here for several years. Bought, sold and traded gear. Everyone there is super helpful. They’re more than fair on trades, and always have something unique and cool to take home. Music Go Round is a safe, friendly venue to purchase used equipment. I purchased a Gretsch G5566 double neck baritone guitar. I live in Cleveland, OH and had to trust their assessment of the instrument. The guitar was in better shape than they described. It was very carefully packed for its shipment from St. Louis to Cleveland. While Music Go Round was willing to ship, they allowed me to make my own shipping arrangements (I emailed a FedEx shipping label) which reduced my shipping costs. I spoke with several representatives including Noah, Kali (spelling?) and Kevin although most of my interaction was with Kevin. Kevin was responsible for packing the instrument. Each were professional, friendly, concerned about my having a successful buying experience. The price was lower than alternatives on Reverb or E-Bay and I avoided sales tax due the Missouri to Ohio tax laws. Looking for a used instrument, check Music Go Round first. They are the best.

If I could give a 6th star I would. These guys are some of the nicest, knowledgeable, and realest in the retail business. I've been coming here to get gear since they opened. As I grew as a guitarist, their stock kept up. They are fair on trade in too, won't lowball you. Business is business, but their in-store value for trade in is great for good condition gear. They've fed my pedal addiction for years. Excellent team, great techs, even better service. Come check this place out! It's worth your time and your money.

A few nice guys working here, they have a good amount of inventory for the store's size, but they're very helpful in finding what you need. We tried selling them a guitar that nobody else would buy or bother to try repairing it. they offered us 5$ for it, since the costs of the repairs would be extensive, which was nice of them to explain and offer since they didn't have to. We decided to keep it but either way, good advice and good atmosphere. Thanks!

I've been going to this place a long time, and unfortunately, today was the last day I will ever go back. Long story short, I bought a 700$ guitar on Saturday, on Sunday had suspicious activity on my card, someone had hacked my account and was negative 600 on my account. I begged for a return as I didn't have any funds to buy even gas to get to work. They would not take a return on the guitar. I was pretty desperate for anything at this point I didn't know what else to do. The only thing they said they could do was buy the guitar back for half of what I bought it. I don't know when I will get my money from the bank, but I thought it was pretty heartless. They got 350$ for free, from someone who was pretty desperate to try to recover some money. The guitar had been with me for about 24 hours. I don't know, this whole situation makes me sad.. after getting 350for free from me, as I was leaving, they told me to have a nice day... this past day has been bad, It makes me sad knowing how heartless some people are.
